Department of Immigration and Passport, rendering both directly and indirectly services to a number of service recipients each and every day is a crucial government organization on various perspectives. We numerous efficient officers along with helping hands are taking new challenges in promoting services on every moment and these unpredictable challenges ones create multidimensional spectrums to face next harder one.

In this circumstance I as a president of Immigration and Passport Officer’s Association of have shouldered all responsibilities that encompass

• Wellbeing of government of Bangladesh
• Strengthening of Department of Immigration and Passport
• Betterments of service recipients
• Enhancement of welfare DIP members

On each and every individual’s appearance from office assistant to honorable Director General an ecstasy with promptness I have been watching since my joining to this department as a proud member. Not only over in country we DIP personnel’s are ensuring service but also over in international realm where a number of expatriates, students, patients, business delegates and diplomates are receiving services. This very department plays a pivotal role to boost up foreign remittance, business expansion and tightening diplomatic relationship in international arena.

We members of DIP are being entrusted with our solemn duties as well as responsibilities for upholding the integrity in passport issuing entire process, issuing visa and immigration activities. I do believe we are highly committed to efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and integrity so as we will convey this organization and its members beneath an umbrella of reliance. Bangladeshi passport has already been advanced in world ranking and now our official passport has access to 38 destinations in the world without visa.

We already have entered into Fourth Industrial Revolution period with intense competition in digital world and therefore we have to be competent by training in domestic and international arena as well to enhance IT expertness to protect our national database from cyber hacking. For all sorts of unpredictable disaster challenges we have to be surveillant.

To achieve government goal, mission and vision I hereby urge all members of DIP to work hard together by strengthening DIP and ameliorating efficiency. Let’s move for progressing our standards of professionalism as much as world class what is our stive for a long time.
